By the Grace of G-d15th of Sivan, 5744Brooklyn, N.Y.
To the Graduating Students of
Yeshiva Achei Tmimim Lubavitch
New Haven, Conn.
Greeting and Blessing:
On the occasion of your forthcoming Graduation - in a happy and auspicious hour - I extend congratulations and prayerful wishes to each and all of you.
You surely know and understand that there is no such thing as a “graduation” from Torah education, inasmuch as every Jew is committed to uninterrupted advancement in matters of Torah and Mitzvos, The Graduation that you will celebrate is a milestone and stepping stone to a higher level of continued Torah education and advancement in all aspects of Torah-true Yiddishkeit.
It is significant that your Graduation is taking place in the auspicious month of Sivan, Zman Mattan Toroseinu, when Hashem entrusted His Torah to His people whom He had designated as a “Kingdom of Kohanim (Hashem’s servants) and a Holy People” -- only after He received the pledge: “Our children are our guarantors" This is why the Torah Chinuch of our young generation is so vital, not only for their own sake, but also for the sake of all our Jewish people.
May Hashem grant each and all of you Hatzlocho in your determined resolve to go from strength to strength in your continued Torah education and the fulfilment of the Mitzvos in the everyday life and conduct, in keeping with the basic Torah principle: Action is the essential thing - the actual living experience of Torah true Yiddishkeit.
With blessing for Hatzlocho in all above
M. Schneerson
