Greeting and Blessing:
I am in receipt of your letter of Jan. 29th. As requested, I will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good.
Judging by your writing, there is surely no need to emphasize to you at length that all blessings come from G-d, and the channel to receive them is through the everyday life and conduct in accordance with His Will. Therefore, every additional effort in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth, though a "must" for their own sake, widens these channels. And, of course, there is always room for advancement in all matters of goodness and holiness, Torah and Mitzvoth.
Especially, as HaShem has entrusted to you and your wife the holy Jewish Torah education of your children - may you both bring them up to a life of Torah, Chuppah and Good Deeds.
Receipt is enclosed for your Tzedoko, and may it additionally stand you and yours in good stead.
With blessing,
P.S.1 יסיח דעת לגמרי מהחלומות שכותב – אבל יבדקו המזוזות ואופן קביעותם.
Notes and sources
The Letter at hand is from a secretarial copy which includes the Rebbe's edits and instructions for the secretariat.
1) The P.S. was added by the Rebbe in Hebrew with an instruction to Rabbi Mindel ('להררנ"מ שי), the Rebbe's secretary, to translate it into English (באנג'). We provide here a free translation:
You should completely dismiss from your mind the dreams which you write [about]. You should, however, have your Mezuzos checked [to make sure they are kosher] and properly affixed.
