By the Grace of G-d 2nd of Adar Rishon, 5744 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. . . .
Monsey N.Y. 10952
Blessing and Greeting:
I received your letter with the enclosure. As requested, I will remember you in prayer for the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good in regard to yourself and all the members of your family.
With regard to the problem of being nervous, etc., surely there is no need to emphasize to you at length that one of the basic tenets of our Torah and way of life is to have complete bitochon (trust) in HaShem, Whose benevolent Providence extends to each and every one individually, and of Whom it is written, “HaShem is your Guardian, your Protective Shade at your right hand,” (Psalms 121:5) and much more in this vein.
In addition to the essential thing, namely, it being a fundamental aspect of our Torah, Toras Emes, it is also self evident that bearing this in mind at all times, would lessen one’s anxieties and worries, and eventually eliminate them altogether, as one would always feel a deep sense of security and confidence regarding the present as well as the future. Needless to say, it is important to have such confidence in order to carry out in the fullest measure HaShem’s directive, which is also a source of strength. “To serve Hashem with joy and goodness of heart.”
Wishing you hatzlocho in all above, and the essential brocho that, together with your husband, you should bring up each and every one of your children to a life of Torah, chuppah and good deeds which, of course, is also part of serving HaShem, but obviously not only a duty, but also a privilege and pleasure.
Receipt is enclosed for your tzedoko, and may the zechus of it additionally stand you and all yours in good stead.
With blessing,
