By the Grace of G-d 9th of Kislev, 5741 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Reuven Dovid Kimball

Springfield, Mass. 01103
Greeting and Blessing:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 5th of Kislev, enclosing your donation for the month of Kislev.
I am gratified to note your advancement in Tzedoko, and your keen interest and involvement with the affairs of the Yeshiva, which will surely likewise continue from strength to strength. Especially in the current year of Hakhel, the significance of which has been emphasized on various occasions since the beginning of the year.
As we are approaching the auspicious day of the 19th of Kislev, the Chag HaGeulo of the founder of Chabad, the history and significance of which you surely know, and soon afterwards we will celebrate Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, I extend to you prayerful wishes in the spirit of these days. May they bring you and yours, in the midst of all our people, a growing measure of Geulo and light in all aspects, materially and spiritually, coupled with advancement in all matters of Ner Mitzvo v'Torah Or, both at home, as well as spreading the light of the Torah and Mitzvoth in your surroundings in general and through the institutions that are conducted in the spirit of the Baal HaGeulo, in particular.
With the blessing of Chag HaGeulo and a happy and inspiring Chanukah.
M. Schneerson
