Greeting and Blessing:
After the interval, I was pleased to receive your correspondence and enclosures in connection with your various activities for spreading Yiddishkeit, particularly in the field of education.
In view of your devoted efforts and spirit of dedication, it is surely unnecessary to emphasize to you the vital importance of such activities, especially as you have had the Zechus to see the good fruits of your labors. And although the successful result of any good activity should not be made a condition of starting such an activity, especially as our Sages tell us that a good effort should be tried even one hundred times (and more), it is certainly encouraging to see the good results right away from the first and second try. There is, of course, always room for additional achievement in matters of Torah and Mitzvoth, which are infinite, being derived from the Infinite.
May G-d grant that you should do all the above in a happy frame of mind, in good health and ample Parnosso. Especially as your letter has been received, and is being acknowledged, in these auspicious days of Elul, when the "King is in the Field," as explained by the Alter Rebbe, founder of Chabad, which is the subject of the enclosed message.
Wishing you much Hatzlocho in all above, and a Kesivo vaChasimo Tovo, for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
