Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to receive the report about your recent visit in some communities in West Germany. Inasmuch as we have the assurance that words coming from the heart penetrate the heart and are eventually fruitful, I am confident that this will also be in this case. Should there be any developments or followup, I would, of course, be pleased to know about it.
Now that we are coming from the festival of Chanukah, I trust that the message and inspiration of it will be with you throughout the year, namely to illuminate both the home and the outside with the light of Yiddishkeit, the light of Torah and Mitzvoth, in a growing measure, and with growing enthusiasm, as symbolized by the Chanukah lights which are kindled in growing numbers from day to day.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
