By the Grace of G-d Rosh Chodesh Elul, 5733 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Blessing and Greeting:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of August 22, with enclosure.
I will again remember you in prayer at the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory, in accordance with the contents of your letter, following your husband's visit here and the matters spoken.
The Zechus of your Tzedoko will surely stand you in good stead for the fulfillment of your heart’s desires for good.
No doubt your husband has conveyed to you my suggestions to be active in the cause of Yiddishkeit, also socially, inviting friends to your home, and so on.
Now that we are in the auspicious month of Elul, you surely know of the significance of these days of special Divine Mercy and Grace, as explained by the Alter Rebbe by means of the parable of the King in the Field, when the King makes himself accessible to all who wish to approach him, receives them graciously and grants their requests.
Wishing you and your husband and family a Kesivo vachasimo toivo for a happy New Year in every respect,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
