Blessing and Greeting:
Your letter, postdated March 18th, has been received. In it I was pleased to read about the activities in behalf of students and youth, which you describe. Thank you very much for reporting the good news.
I trust that you and your co-workers will not rest content with the accomplishments in the past. On the contrary, the Hatzlocho which you have seen, will surely stimulate you to increased efforts to expand the group and the activities, and the Zechus Horabim will stand you in good stead.
As for the role of the Jewish woman in Jewish life, it is brought to mind with especial emphasis at this time between Purim and Pesach. This is particularly emphasized by the fact that the Megillah of Purim is called not after Mordecai, nor after Mordecai and Esther jointly, but after Esther alone - Megillas Esther. Similarly, in connection with Pesach, our Sages declare that it was in the merit of the righteous women in those days that our ancestors were delivered from Egypt. There is no need to elaborate here, especially as it has been done on various occasions.
Now that we are approaching Rosh Chodesh Nissan, I send my prayerful wishes to you and the entire group for a happy Chodesh and a Kosher and happy Pesach.
With blessing,
By (secretary)
