Blessing and Greeting:
I was very pleased to receive a report of your activities, lectures and workshops, and may G-d grant that you should have steadily growing measure of Hatzlocho.
"Growth" is the theme of the New Year for Trees which we have just observed, and it is the sign of life and vitality. The same principle applies to human endeavor, all the more so since the Torah alludes to this analogy in the words, "For man is like a tree of the field."
To carry the analogy further: When a single seed is planted and G-d provides the necessary sunshine and rain, etc., the single seed will produce a fruit bearing tree with a multitude of seeds for continued reproduction in ever growing proportions.
Such is also the case in planting seeds in Jewish hearts, for they are good and fertile soil, as G-d called the Jewish people ארץ חפץ "desirable land," and the seeds bear fruits, and the fruits reproduce fruits, in the way of an ever spreading chain reaction.
And since we live in the present "Jet Age," when everything moves at unprecedented pace, may your influence likewise be swift and far-reaching, and carried on in joy and gladness of heart.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
