Greeting and Blessing:
I was very pleased to receive your letter of May 22nd, with the enclosure. Although I had received brief reports from other sources about the success of the Exhibit and Sale of Judaica, your letter certainly filled in important details.
Considering, as you write, that the Exhibit lasted only a relatively short period, and that it was the first attempt, and "all beginnings are difficult,"1 the results are unquestionably most gratifying. I am confident that this success will stimulate even greater efforts and greater accomplishments in the future. Needless to say, I am not inferring merely to the intended repetition of the Exhibit, next year on a larger scale, but also to the time in between. For, clearly, the activities of the Lubavitch Youth Organization must continue uninterruptedly and, in fact, must be on the ascendancy.
The present days, leading to the Festival of Our Receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai, are particularly auspicious for good resolutions relating to the dissemination of Torah study and Torah practice. May they bring additional inspiration to all of us.
While this letter is addressed to you in appreciation of your report and the good news it contained, I will be thankful to you to convey its contents and my sincere appreciation to all those who have contributed to the success of the Exhibit.
Wishing you and yours a happy and inspiring Yom Tov of Kabolas HaTorah,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
