By the Grace of G-d11th of Shevat, 5727Brooklyn, N. Y.
501 W. 120th St.
Apt. 6E
New York N.Y.
Greeting and Blessing:
I duly received your letter written after the Chanukah party, with the enclosure. I regret the delay in my acknowledgment of same.
However, everything is by particular Divine Providence, and the delay has given me an opportunity to learn in the meantime that the Chanukah party was directly effective in bringing about the lighting of the Chanukah candles in another home. Inasmuch as our Sages declare that "One Mitzvo brings another Mitzvo in its train," I am confident that the Mitzvo of lighting the Chanukah candles has brought a series of other Mitzvoth in that home.
May G-d grant that you should both have Hatzlocho in spreading the light of the Torah and Mitzvoth in your surroundings. And inasmuch as G-d’s blessing is in kind, though in a most generous measure, your efforts to spread the light of the Torah and Mitzvoth will truly illuminate your own home, to
be a bright and happy home both materially and spiritually.
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
