Blessing and Greeting:
After not hearing from you for a long time, I was pleased to receive your letter of Pessach Sheini, containing a report of the activities of the Parents' Association, etc. May G-d grant that these activities should be continued at a growing pace, with joy and gladness of heart.
I trust you know the interpretation of Pessach Sheini which we heard from my father-in-law of saintly memory, namely that one of its essential messages is that "it is never too late."1 A Jew always gets a second chance to do what he may have failed to do, whether through his own fault or through the fault of circumstances. As a matter of fact sometimes a second chance may provide advantages which were lacking the first time. This is indicated in Pessach Sheini when the Korban Pessach could be brought and observed without having to clear out the Chometz first, whereas in the case of the regular Pessach, of course, the chometz has to be very carefully cleared out before.
May G-d grant that your continued good work should stand each and every one of you in good stead, and may you and your husband have true Yiddish Chassidish Nachas from your children.
With blessing
M. Schneerson
