Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter of the 27th of Kislev, and the previous correspondence. I read with great interest, of course, about the activities in recent weeks.
You also wrote that you received an offer for your house, with a substantial profit, and ask my advice whether to sell it. Judging by your description of the house, as well as of the neighborhood, it would be advisable to sell it, provided you can buy another and better house, and in a better section. As for the thought that a new house might be more expensive etc., surely there is no "must" that it has to be so, and, G-d willing, you might well find a new house which would be both better and within your means. Strengthening the Sholom Bayis at home, as well as the activities to spread the fountains of Chassidus by yourself as well as your wife, will surely bring you additional Divine blessings in all your needs. May G-d grant that it should be so in a growing measure, in accordance with the message of the Chanukah lights, which we kindle in a growing number each night of Chanukah.
Wishing you and yours a happy Chanukah
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
