By the Grace of G-d 24th of Nissan, 5723 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. . . .
41, Windsor Road Prestwich,
Manchester England
Greeting and Blessing:
I received your letter and, as requested, I will remember your mother in prayer, when you will write her (and her mother’s) Hebrew names, and inasmuch as you brought this matter to my attention, may you also have good news to report soon.
I need hardly emphasize that the Torah and Mitzvoth, although they must be observed for their own sake, as commanded and willed by G-d, are also the channels to receive G-d’s blessings. Every effort in this direction on the part of any member of the family, especially a son, brings additional Divine blessings to all the members of the family, particularly to the one who needs them most.
Having just celebrated the festival of Pesach, the Season of our Liberation, which includes also liberation from perplexities and anxieties of any kind, may this be so with you and all your family, materially and spiritually.
With blessing,
By Nissan Mindel
