By the Grace of G-d8th of Nissan, 5723Brooklyn, N.Y.
Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to receive your letter in which you write about the progress which your students have been making in their studies and, in what is most essential, their conduct. It is especially gratifying to see that your students are participating in the great Miztvo of Tzedoko. Receipt is enclosed for the collection, and the Zechus of the Tzedoko will surely stand everyone in good stead.
At this time, before Pesach, I am sure you are preparing your students for this great festival in which, as you know, the children are the center of attention, as the Haggadah tells us, one of the main purposes of the Seder is to gather all the Jewish children around the Seder table and to tell them about the significance of this festival as the preparation for receiving the Torah. I trust that under your care and influence, all your students may be included in the category of the "Wise Son," and that they, in turn, will use their good influence on other children also to become members of this category.
With best wishes for a happy, Kosher and inspiring Pesach
With blessing
