By the Grace of G-d 15th of Cheshvan, 5723 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Joseph Feiglin
POB 21
Nunawadig, Vic.
Sholom uBrocho:
After not having heard from you for a very long time, I received your letter, and enclosure, of Hoshana Rabba, which reached me with some delay. I was pleased to note that all the members of the family are well.
I am particularly appreciative of your thoughtfulness to share with me your impressions of the official opening of the Beth Rivkah and the favorable impact it has had all around. I trust this will stimulate you and everyone of your family with an added measure of inspiration to advance the cause of the Beth Rivkah and of the Yeshiva Oholey Yosef Yitzchok, with an overflowing and contagious enthusiasm, so that before long the present premises will be found too small to contain the enlarged student body, and further expansion will be necessary. Needless to say, the Feiglin family1 is being looked up to to take the lead, in view of the tradition of devotion and dedication established by your family in the footsteps of your father of blessed memory.
Having wound up the holy days of Tishrei with Simchas Torah, the concluding message is to carry the spirit of Simcha with the Torah and Mitzvoth into every day of the new year, especially in the light of Chasidus, which demands enthusiasm and joy in every activity connected with Torah and Mitzvoth, especially in the field of Chinuch.
Please convey my regards and good wishes to all the members of the Feiglin family,1 who are also included in this letter.
With blessing
