After not having heard from you for some time I was especially pleased to receive your letter of 25th of Nissan.

May G-d grant that the feeling you express towards the end of your letter as well as the inspiration of Pesach, will be with you throughout the year and since divine service with joy and enthusiasm is expected of every Jew it is also certain that together with this expectation there is a delegation of power and ability to fulfil it.

The enclosed copy of my Pesach letter¹ which is timely all the year round also has a bearing on the above,

P.S. I was surprised to read in your letter your thoughts on the woman's place in regard to a Farbreng. Surely you have read in the writings and memoirs of my father in law of saintly memory about his views as to this matter and how women are concerned with the Farbreng. In fact much of the subject matter and content of the Farbrengen is directed to them.
