By the Grace of G-d 8th of Tishrei, 5722 Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr.
London, E. 5.
Greeting and Blessing:
I am in receipt of your letter of 26th of Elul and the previous one. As requested, I will remember in prayer all those mentioned in your letter.
Wishing you a Chasimo ugmar chasimo toivo for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
P.S. Regarding your desire to visit here for Succoth, and the question of being released from your work, it is difficult for me to express an opinion without knowing the details of your job. However, knowing your employer personally, I am sure that if he feels that he can release you from your duties for the time necessary for your visit, without it creating problems for the business, he will gladly do so.
P.P.S. Just received your letter of 4 Tishrei. It gave me much gratification to read how you spent Rosh Hashanah and Tzom Gedalia. It is an auspicious way to start the new year, and enter a new year also in age, especially the 18th birthday. In this connection I add special good wishes for a successful year in every respect.
