Greeting and Blessing:

I received your letter through Rabbi Dubov. As requested, I will remember you and your friend Jacob, in prayer, to be successful in your learning of the Torah, and may G-d grant that it be the kind of study that leads to actual practice in the daily life.

As we are now in the midst of the Three Weeks, it is well to remember the reason which led to the Destruction, as it is written, "Why was Jerusalem destroyed? Because they had forsaken My Torah."¹ This is, therefore, the time to make amends through a more intensive and dedicated study of the Torah and thus hasten the arrival of Moshiach speedily in our time.
