Greeting and Blessing:
I have been wondering at the long interval which has elapsed since you or your son wrote to me. Needless to say, I inquire after you and receive regards from Anash in your community, especially from Rabbi Sudak. However, it would be nice to hear from you direct.
Enclosed you will find the Purim circular of the Secretariat,1 about which you must have already heard through the Press.
I would like to add that in view of your position in the work which is being done to improve true Jewish education in your community, and in accordance with the daily message of Purim, I hope you and everyone of your family will redouble your efforts in this direction. May G-d grant that you do so in good health and prosperity and a happy frame of mind.
I wish you and yours a happy Purim, in the words of the Megillah "For the Jews there was light, joy, gladness and glory"2 which are interpreted by our Sages of blessed memory as referring to the Torah and Mitzvoth,3 but at the same time also in their literal sense.
Hoping to hear good news from you in every respect, and wishing you again a happy and inspiring Purim,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
