By the Grace of G-d 8th of Shevat, 5721 Brooklyn, N. Y.

Kersal
Salford 8, Lancs.
Blessing and Greeting:
After the very prolonged silence, I received your letter of January 19th, in which you write about your forthcoming birthday on the auspicious day of Yud Shevat.
May G-d grant you a new year of success in all your affairs and activities about which you write in your letter, and especially in your work to inspire and influence your environment towards the Jewish way of life, and to do so with Chassidic enthusiasm.
I trust that you are familiar with the significance of Yud Shevat and the dedicated work of my father-in-law of saintly memory throughout his life. Surely you have good opportunities to share your knowledge with the young people among whom you are active.
Hoping to hear good news from you, and with prayerful wishes,
With blessing,
M. Schneerson
