By the Grace of G-d 3rd of Cheshvan, 5721 Brooklyn, N. Y.

Greeting and Blessing:

I was pleased to receive your letter, in which you write about your studies in the Yeshivah, and your efforts to benefit others in their religious life.

As we have entered a New Year, I trust that it will bring you an increased measure of devotion and diligence in your studies, and that you will overcome the difficulties which you mentioned. Where there is a real effort and determination, our Sages assure us that success is certain.¹ May G-d grant that you will also be a living example to your friends and the environment at large, and that all your activities will be animated by the warmth and inspiration of Chasidus.

Hoping to hear good news from you,

With blessing,

By Nissan Mindel
