By the Grace of G-d Erev Shabbos, 11th of Tammuz, 5719 Brooklyn, N.Y.
... Central Park South,
New York N.Y.
Greeting and Blessing:
Rabbi A. Kasarnovsky conveyed to me your request for a prayer in behalf of your wife.
When visiting the holy resting place of my father-in-law of saintly memory, I will remember your wife in prayer. The merit of the tzedoko which you give, and which I trust you will continue to do in a growing measure, since all matters of holiness should be on the ascendancy,1 will surely stand you and your wife in good stead. Especially, as we are on the eve of the auspicious days of the 12-13th of Tammuz, commemorating the historic events when my father-in-law was liberated from prison in Soviet Russia, where he suffered extreme persecution for his work to spread the light of the Torah and Yiddishkeit in the darkest of days. His self sacrificing work in behalf of our people serve as a source of inspiration and blessing to all the participants in his work and institutions which he has created and which have been flourishing ever since, in various parts of the world, including the Holy Land.
Hoping to hear good news from you.
With blessing,
