This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter, in which you write about the health of your sister. . . . No doubt you have already heard from your father, who has been in touch with me in connection with this matter, and I hope there will be good news about an improvement in her health.

I was gratified to read that you have undertaken to open a new branch of Mesibos Shabbos. May G-d grant that it be in a happy and auspicious hour, and that you have a good influence on the children during the Sabbath, which should last them throughout the week, and be expressed in their constantly improving conduct.
