By the Grace of G-d 8th of Tammuz, 5718 Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Shlomo Leib Litvin
81 Evans St.
Dorchester 24, Mass.
Greeting and Blessing:
This is to acknowledge your most recent letter. Although you do not mention it, I trust that you and Mrs. Litvin have received the letters I wrote to you.
As you no doubt know, we are approaching the auspicious Day of the 12th of Tammuz, which is the Liberation Day of my father-in-law of saintly memory, in his fight to uphold, strengthen and spread true Yiddishkeit. By virtue of his self-sacrifice which this historic Day recalls, all those who work in the public good along the same lines, including yourselves, enjoy G-d's blessings for liberation and freedom from all obstacles and difficulties. May this be so in your case in a growing measure, bringing about a substantial improvement in Parnosso, so that both of you may devote more time and energy to the work of strengthening Yiddishkeit in your community, in good health and prosperity.
With blessing,
