By the Grace of G-d12th of Adar, 5718Brooklyn, N.Y.
Blessing and Greeting:
I was pleased to receive your letter, in which you write the news that you started your study group. Please convey my prayerful wishes and regards to every one of the participants. I hope that you will all go from strength to strength in your good work.
Needless to say that in matters of study, time is of the essence, for you cannot postpone that which should be studied today for tomorrow, because tomorrow you have to study something else.
I trust that the approaching Festival of Purim will inspire every one of your group in the knowledge that it was a Jewish woman, Queen Esther, who by her courage, selflessness and determination, brought great salvation not only to herself and family, but to all our people. This emphasizes the great privilege and responsibility which each Jewish woman has in her own way and in her own surroundings, and that G־d gives everyone the ability to fulfill them.
Wishing you all a happy and inspiring Purim,
With blessing,
