By the Grace of G-d17th of Marcheshvan, 5718 Brooklyn, New York
133 Clymer St.
Brooklyn 11, New York
Greeting and Blessing:
I was pleased to be informed by your nephew, Rabbi Zeev Schildkraut1, that the health of Mrs. Mann has improved, and also the good news that your daughter Fraida has received her engagement ring from her fiancé. May G-d grant that the marriage take place in a happy and auspicious hour, and that they should set up a truly Jewish home, based on the foundations of the Torah and Mitzvoth, which is the best insurance for happiness, materially and spiritually.
Last, but not least, I was pleased to be informed about the forthcoming Bar Mitzvah of your son, Reuben Shmuel. Inasmuch as he is fortunate in attending a Yeshiva, I am sure he realizes that his Bar Mitzvah is in no way a graduation, but rather the beginning of a new and full Jewish life. I send him my prayerful wishes on this occasion, and wish you also much Yiddish Nachas from him.
With blessing,
